SAILING WITH PURPOSE
Our NGO proudly sails in prestigious ocean races such as the Route du Rhum and the Transat Jacques Vabre, through our partnership with skipper Axel Tréhin and his Class40 yacht bearing the colors of Project Rescue Ocean.
A passionate sailor and environmental advocate, Axel has competed in 14 Class40 races, securing 9 podium finishes. For him, high-level sailing goes hand in hand with eco-conscious commitment.
Born in Saint-Nazaire, Loire-Atlantique, Axel has long been aware of the impact of human activity on our oceans and coastlines. Since 2019, he has served as an ambassador for our NGO, even founding our Brittany branch. He actively leads awareness campaigns, particularly among school communities, to inspire environmental responsibility and ocean preservation.
