• 1.6 min

On February 19 and 20, 2025, Benoit Schumann, founder of UNESCO-accredited Project Rescue Ocean, proudly represented France at the first UNESCO Global Youth Forum (GYF), bringing together over 60 young representatives from various countries.
“A powerful moment, marked by leading a workshop on sustainable tourism and climate change, where I shared Project Rescue Ocean’s experience and the workshops we set up with WeClean. What a beautiful reward after 10 years of hard work! Today, more than ever, we keep hope alive, carry a message of peace, and continue to unite around sustainability and integrity issues for our planet’s future and future generations,” emphasizes Benoit Schumann.

This first GYF edition aligns with UNESCO’s 2030 Goals:
